KTBS covered Fair Park High School 80th Anniversary to celebrate the opeining of our school.
The Open House was held October 11, 2008.
RECEPTION AND TOUR OF FAIR PARK
On Friday, November 30, 2007, the Fair Park High School Alumni Association hosted a Reception and Tour of Fair Park High School for Caddo Parish School Board Members and other dignitaries. It was an opportunity to showcase the accomplishments of our administration, staff, faculty, students, and show the beauty of our campus and school. At the reception, a copy of the original construction documents for Fair Park High School was presented as a gift to our school from the Alumni Association. These were available for viewing by our guests. The recently established memorabilia collection was also on display. Additionally, the tour was an occasion for visitors to see the new reading labs furnished by the Alumni Association.
We thank Mr. Daigle for his support and assistance. We also thank the staff and faculty for their cooperation.
As seen in the photos below, the Custodial Staff does a superb job of keeping our campus and buildings beautiful. We appreciate their diligence and thank them for a job very well done.
To Mrs. Jones, our Home Economics teacher and sponsor of The Hospitality Club, and to the club members, we especially thank you. They were very helpful in assisting with the preparation for the reception, greeting our guests, serving refreshments, escorting guests, and helping after the reception.
There were many compliments on our administration, staff, faculty, students and our school.

Presentation of Memorabilia
Presentation of Donations - On November 15, 2007, a small group gathered for the placement of the first items to be donated to the Fair Park High School Alumni Association. This collection is on display in our newly refurbished memorabilia cases, along with more recent donations. Below are photos from that ceremony.
MEMBERS LUNCHEON
The first Fair Park High School Alumni Association Members Luncheon was held at Chester Kelley's Crescent Landing Catfish Restaurant on November 10, 2007. Approximately fifty people were in attendance, with members representing the classes from the 1930's to the 1980's. It was an excellent opportunity to visit with classmates and meet other alumni. It was a great afternoon!
